C., May 17, 1913.—Word has just reached the College that the Francis As- bury Palmer Board, of which Dr. Martyin Summerbell is pre sident and Dr. Frank S. Child, Secretary, has granted $1,500 to the College for current expenses this spring. This same Board last fall voted the College $2,000. The President is also glad to announce that the late Dr. J. J. Summerbell, Dayton, Ohio, left a bequest of $1,5000 to the Col lege to be used in its own discre^ ion to the best advantage of the College. It has been decided to create out of this bequest the J, 1. Surnmerbell Fund, the income of which shall be used as the doard of Trustee shall from time to time direct. One of the great questions vvhich the Board of Trustees will oe called upon to decide this June will be provision for a building for the Young Ladle’s Hall, the ir4aiization which provides board and living expenses to young women at cost.
