M. Marshall i.nd family of No. 2. visited at Chas. Faucette Sunday. iVliss Carrie Hornaday of No. 4 visited Mr. C. B. Tapscott one day last week. Prof. J. B. Rob ertson also stopped there for din ner one day. Edward and Bettie Vanner Tapscott spent Saturday and Sun- day on No. 4. visiting grandpa J. C. Whitsell. Jno. Leath leaves this week for Kingstrees, S. C., where he is associated with Mr. E. L. Morgan in tobacco business, will be back Sept. 1st in time to open sales in the new brick warehouse. We took a little bite of our vacation and attended the Rural Carriers State Convention at Wilmington. N. C. 3rd and 4th. We alway enjoy these meetings.
