Dick Miller, of China Grove, well
known in baseball .circles of his sec
tion, was a visitor in the city yes
terday. Miller has just finished the
most successful season of his base
ball career with the Savannah team
of the South Atlantic League. He
hit in the select circle of .300 and
iran bases and fielded with the best
