The feature of Labor Day celebra- j care News t"on in Charlotte this year, the great national holiday, will be some fast horse racing at the Fair grounds. The races will be pulled off Monday afternoon, commencing at 3:30 o'clock and as the program indicates there will be nothing short of some ine sport for Charlotte horse fan ciers. Manager W. S. Some of the test trotting and running horses in this section of the State are down rn the program to do stunts and in the running race several horses are expected to go the mile in less than two minutes. Mr. C. M. Creswell will start the ball rolling promptly at 3:30 o'clock, his official position being starter. The timers will be Messrs. C. E. Hooper and Will Bruns; and the judges will be Dr. C. H. C. Mills and Mr. R. M.
