The Cow and the Moon.
The Cow and the Moon appeared for
two performances at the Academy of
Music yesterday afternoon and last
night and did not come up to the
standard of the shows that have ap
peared there this season. In the first
place it w^as weak in the cast and in
the second the lines dragged and it
became tiresome. As a senic extrava
ganza it was a success for it was re
plete with unique ‘and original scenes
and some of the comedy parts w-ere
good. With that exception little could
be said about it.
