The match will start about 9 o'clock and will afford the people of the city an opportimity of witnessing two of the greatest nien of their weight iu the country in action. There Is some rivalry between the two, but for reasons beat known to them they have kept apart in the past. Each has signified his desire to meet the other, but somehow they w^ere always wrestling in different states. Now that they are to grapple for minutes here in Charlotte, some real, live action is expected. —Mr. Joseph Melville of New York has taken a position as window trim mer and decorator w'ith the Tate- Brown Co. ♦ (‘in tree.-; X, Siicrri'.l. .’2-It 1'- sia* rri' I ? \I.l .•room cottage. An unusual feature of the contract which calls for the appearance here at the Academy of Music Thurs-day niglit of this week of DeWolf Hopper, iu liis latest song comedy success, “A Mat inee Idol,'’ is found in the clause which calls for the presentation here of this musical play as it was: presented tor six months in New York. In order to fulfill this agreement it was necessary for Daniel V. Arthur, ;\Ir .Hopper’s manager, to place not only all the ])rin- cipals but the entire company under contracts which unlike most theatrical contracts were without the usual tvco weeks' notice s-tipulation. Every mem ber of the org^.iization is under an un breakable contract to remain with Mr. Hopper's company for the entire sea son. Mr. Hopper will, therefore, be seen here with Miss Louise Dresser, one of the highest salaried artists on tlie American stage as well as one of the most popular comediennes, and the entire New York company, in other words, local playgoers will see “A Matinee Idol” played exactly as it was performed for six months at Da ly's and the Lyric theatre in New York. While one may get from this system the maxi mum amount of food, it is a question as to what extent this principle of liv ing can be applied to the human race as a wliole. It is an old and true say ing. “What is one man’s meat is an other man's poison.’’ There is one thing sure, however, rnuch less distress and much more as similation of the body-building ele ments contained in e\*ery day food would be experienced b.v ])eople with poor or impaired digestion if they would only believe what we tell them about Vinol. There is no mpstery about it, or misrepresentation. Vinol simi)l.v con tains the necessary elements needed to re-establish a normal condition of the digestive system. There is no need of going into the scientific reasons it simply does it, that is all. Thousands of genuine testimonials lom reliable people prove this claim, and to furtlier support the fact and 1)1 ove our faith in what we say we unhesitatingly declare that any one who will btiy a bottle of Vinol for stomach disorder and malassimilation, will have their money returned with- satisfied j that It has done them good.
