Trade St. Phone 776 i CHRISTIAN SCIENCE HEALER Willis Vernon Cole, of New York, the Christian Science healer, who was lecently indicted by the Grand Jury on the cha^'ge of practicing medicine without a license. Mr. Cole is one Scientist of the most prominent Christian Scientist healers in the state and his finely appointed offices on Fifth avenue have been visited by many prominent persons in sicie- ty and financial circles. The criminal prosecution of Mr. Cole is v/elcomed by Christian Scientists, a« It will serve as a means of securing a judi cial interpretation by the highest court of the Public Health law. The evidence against the indicted man was obtained by Mrs. I. Goodwin, a police matron and Mrs. F. Bonzeary, of the Country IVedical Society, who have testified that they had been treated by him and that he charged them $2.50. The Cchristian Scientists are all lined up behind Mr. Cole, arid if the case goes against him in the lower courts, it will be carried to the supreme court of the United States.
