Hlackstone who twirled the tlr.-t game for tho lociUs was knocked ;ill over the lot while Boyle held the Ux’als safe at ali times. The feature of the lirst game was the batting of, Clemens who secured live hits out of Siaitanburg, h. c June 10. Doyle was necer in danger in the first contest and the game was never in doubt after the tirst inning. In the second contest though, the result was different. Manager Smith sent Jamieson to the mound and he held the heavy hitting Twins at his mercy all the way through letting them down with one hit, and as many runs. The last game was played in a light rain and they were forced to stop for uearlv thirty minutes.
