THE SHOE QUESTION.
ITCH-ECZEMA
No article of dress should be
purchased with the care that should
be expended on s-hoes. The appear

much more so. A woman who ptits

adverse criticism. Gloves and shoes
are the tell-tale articles of attire.
Well polished shoes are perhaps the
suhest sign of a neat person and
vice-versa. Buy more shoes than you
think that you can afford; never
buy a cheap pair; let shoes be your
luxury.

Chicago. July 22.—“Snobbishness is
dividing the church against its«lf in
America.” declared Miss Clara Barge,
secretary of the Woman’s Home
Missionary Society of the Methodist
Episcopal Church, in an address be
fore 3,500 Chicago Methodists.
“We must go back to the demo
cratic ideals of our fathers and moth
ers, and it is up to the women to
bring this about,” she said. Women
control the customs of society. One
rich woman can disrupt the discip
line of any church by her social

Our usual July disbursement will take place promptly on time.
Our 45th series will mature with the payment Saturday, July 15th,

The series has 1,193 shares, which means we will pay our share

Canceled Mortgages, $48,560,00
Free Shares , . . 70,740.00
Total

On these 1,193 shares their owners have paid us in install

MOSQUITO CANOPIES
4
Here's a cut of the “Old Re
liable” Palmer Canopy that is
absolutely guaranteed to keep
out mosquitoes. You often won
der why mosquitoes get under
your canopy. The reason is ea
sily explained—the canopy does
not reach to the floor or it is not
closely woven, so the pests eith
er g«-t in from underneath or
crawl through the mesh. Now
we pell you a full size properly
woven canopy that is close
enough to keep out the mosqui
to but does not exclude the air.
Visit our store and see what
a wonderful store we have and
note the difference in prices you
get here and elsewhere.
