sure and extent. It has caused cooler
weather over the Lake region, and
the lower Mississippi valley.
It is warmer throughout the Atlan
tic coast states, due to a decrease
in pressure. Showers have occurred
over parts of Alabama, Mississippi and
Georgia, and over the upper Lakes.
Highest temperatures are reported
from most of the northwestern states,
although freezing occurred at several
places, and frost temperatures pre
vailed in the far northwest. *
