The creditors present Voted for a trustee, the nomi nees being R. A. Lee, Esq., and Ed Huck, E^q. ' Mr. Husk received the vote of $17,523.03. Mr. Lee received the vote of $18,573.19. As neither map received the vote of a majority of the creditors the referee ruled that there had been no election and" calld for futrher nominations. There were none and the referee appointed Mr, R. A. Lee trustee and he was put under a bond of $5,000. i The appointment of appraisers was left to the attorney for the bankrupt and to the trustee. Thursday night the boxing and wTBStling class will again meet. The class meets at 8:15 every Thurs day nightfi in the wrestling room. Mr. Harry Bangle and Mr. Archie Templeton have charge of the wrest ling, and Dr. Wishart of the boxing. Friday night of this week, the beginners class will have its first social event. The members of this class are to dress in' their gym. togs, and after going through a spec ial program, will have some “eatins.” Each member coming on the floor that night, will be taxed 10 cents. Lockhftrt, of Bessemer City, was operated on yesterday afte^moon at the Charlotte Sanatorium by Drs. Gibbon and Pressley for the removal of a bullet from his side, which he re ceived at the hands of a Bessemer City polic^an yesterday afternoon. Lockhart, it is said, was drinking an? raising some disturbance when the oflacer tried to place him under arrest. It is stated further that Lock hart was advancing on the officer and trying to cut him with n knife, when the officer fired. The woimded man was brought to the city on Bouthem train No. 12 yesterd^iy afternoon and taken at once to the^ Samaritan hospi tal, where the ball was located and removed.
