Opening figures were l-8a 1-4 to 1-2 higher. May started at 99 3-4 to 1.00 and went to l.OOal-8. Influenced by wheat the ' corn market showed a. little firmness at the autset but country offering were more free and the gain did not last. May opened 1-8 higher at 64 5-8 ^ind receded to 64 1-2. Oats showed stre^th but the dragging market for cor^j caused a setback later. May started a shade to 1-8 up at 49 3-4 to 49 3-4a7-8 and then declined to 49 5-8a3-4.
