After the shallacking which Cataw ba handed down to the “Owls" last year; CC. in turn, is reauy lO "let the good times roll*’ in the Salisbury Stadium this coming week. The Indians are back on the war path again trying to renew their five out of five wins this year. They already have two in their favor and Head Coach. P.arl Ruth, plans to keej) his team, tht strongest J. V". in the .state. Ruth has four veteran backfield backs; Robbyville, Coleman, (irub. and Bill Billings all of whom saw action in last years C.C. defeat. Having lost last weeks scrimmage with the Chnton referies. Woods and Taylor plan to meet the J. \^ powerhouse with revenge in their eyes ■from both last year and last week. However. Adkins and Condor will l)e laid out of the next game resulting from injuries in the P.C. tilt; which means Mock will fill in and Barnett and Clark will alternate because of Barnett’s weak ankle. Davis and Foreman will be in their same spots sparking the backfield as usual. Windle, a reserve who showed marked improvement in the P.C. game will probably replace Conder; however Mason and Wilson will see plenty of action this week. The remainder of the line will be as usual with Knight and York on the flanks and Kerr and Drummond in their tackle positions. The old stand-by Wilie will be at guard while Hailey will ]>e at the pivot sj)ot calling defensive signals. Thursdays game will bring together a power packed offense and a rugged defense which held P.C. to 155 to Charlottes 210 net rushing yards.
