Miss UNC-C: Earleen Mabry little man on campus
Earleen Mabry, Junior beauty, made it two titles in a row by winning
the Miss UNC-C contest last Saturday night. She is also Christmas
Queen. Earleen is the second Miss UNC-C; Sandra Haney was the first
last year.

tions. Mr, Stavrakas entered UNC-C (then
Charlotte College) in the fall of 1964.Mr.
Stavrakas maintained a 3.84 average in his major, mathematics,
and a 3.20 overall average. In the fall of 1966, he was elected
Junior representative to the Student Legislature, in which he
serves as a member of the Rules Committee. He is currently
a member of the University Union Program Board, where he
is chairman of the Special Activities Committee. Also, in the
fall of 1966, he was chosen to be a member of Who's Who in
American Universities and Colleges, He has also recently
served as a Student Marshall in the installation of Chancellor
Colvard.
In the next issue of the Journal, or possibly in the issue after
that, he will publish the platform on which he will run.
