On Campus State Government will be able to talk with a representative from Tar Heel Writers Roundtable Contest the State Personnel Department on Wednesday, March 6. Arrange ments for the interview are to be mae with the College Placement Office. One should report there to establish a specific appointment on this date. Raleigh--The first writing con test sponsored by the Tar Heel Writers Roundtable has been an nounced by Roundtable Director Bernadette Hoyle. Categories are short story, article, juvenile fic tion, and poetry. All entries must be unpublished and deadline for submissions is June 15, 1968. Contest rules include enrollment in the Fourth nnual Tar Heel Writers Roundtable a two-day session lor published and unpub lished writers, to be held August 16-17, 1%8 at the Sir Walter Hotel. First place winners in each, con test category will receive a beau tiful trophy, second and third place winners will receive certificates. The awards are being given by the Sir Walter Hotel, Raleigh, N. C. where the Roundtable is held an nually, and will be called the Sir Walter Hotel Writing Awards.
