Dear Editor: The following want ad appeared in the Sunday issue of The Char lotte Observer: Bryant Electric Trailer job site on campus of UNC-C 7:30 a.m. ready to work. BACKHOE OPERATOR, first class, sober, white, top pay if qualified. See Sonny Kent at Since this work is being done under state funds, and since Bryant Electric falls under ICC regula tions, I thought that it might be a good idea to bring this to the attention of The Carolina Journal. Then a group of patriotic Baltimore ladies embarked upon the task of re-creating the original, stitch for stitch. Now picture-taking visitors may snap the results of their labors at Baltimore’s Flag House.
