Fraternity Vote Bypassed
The Student Activities
Committee has put the
recommendation for Social
Fraternities and Sororities on the
docket of the Faculty meeting
agenda. The recommendation was
on the agenda at the February 5th
meeting but was not reached
because of lengthy discussion on
Local YAF Ch
other items. If the faculty
approves the recommendation at
its meeting in March, it will then
go to the Chancellor for final
approval. This will culminate a
study of social fraternities which
actually began last spring. It is
expected that the
recommendation will meet with
approval from both the faculty
and the Chancellor.
The nominations for Who’s
Who will occupy part of the
agenda of the next meeting of the
S A C. A new sub-committee is
considering an objective point
system for the election of Who’s
Who nominees.
