A Message From The Draft Counseling Service We woiWd like to advise the male students of the school you serve of the various draft counseling services in the Carolinas. We believe that the best way to do so is to publicize these services through the school newspaper. Because our services are free of charge, however, we have a very limited budget, and cannot afford advertising costs. We would, then, be grateful if you would consider placing our advertisement in your paper either for no charge, or for a nominal fee. Would you advise us, then, what you feel you must charge, or what size advertisement you would allow free of charge. The ceremonies were sponsered by Students for Action, a campus involvement-oriented organization. The proceedings were higlilighted by a speech by Reginald Hawkins, a controversial leader of the local blacks, and the hoisting of a black flag to a Photo by Art Gentile half-mast position on the pole. Dr. Hawkins encouraged local students not to remain inactive while their rights were trod upon.
