- Ciyil Docket Begins Tomorrow
The BarnliarUI-KIlls Case Will
This (Thursday) afternoon's ses
sion will doubtless wind up the
criminal docket tor this te-in. Civil
cases will begin tomorrow, and the
case of Barnhardt vs. Ellis will
doubtless be the first one called.
This case has gained great fame on
tho etreets today and the whole of
No. 5 township seemes to be interest
ed more or less. Criminal caes
tried yesterday and today were :
State ys. J F Hinson and Nathan
Cranford, affray; guilty.
State d. George F Honcycuat, re
tailing without license; acquitted-
State vs. Ed Eaginp, carrying
concealed weapon; guilty. Haggins
was sentenced to work on the road
for three months.
S.ate vs. Jim Russell, carrying
concealed weapon; judgement sus
pended on payment of cost.
State vs. Peter Fink, carrying
concealed weapon; fined 10 and
C03t. Fink to remain ia custody
until fine and costs are paid.
The grand jury wiil doubtless be
discharged this afternoon.
