Fire From Linseed Oil.
The steamship, Patria, burned
in the North Sea on Thursday.
The remarkable part is that the
fire was from the spontaneous
combustion of linseed oil. Wre
remember to have read a warning
that a rag, with which linseed had
been applied, dropped into
shavings or other combustible
matter is liable to ignite and pro
duce a fire.
