that Dr. J C Kilgo be requested
to address the conference on that
subject."" V
The committee appointed the
day before to investigate com
plaints against Rev. J A Green,
reported that, a trial would be
necessary, that the charges
could be heard. The report was
approved by the conference, and
ministers wore appointed to con

Under this head the name of
Rev. T W Mansfield was called
and a good amount of discussion
followed. It seems that Rev.
Mansfield was ordered to a
charge and failed to go, but after
discussion it was found that his
exceedingly destitute circum
stances was the cause of him not
responding and not any. ill-will.
He had requested that he be lo
cated and his request was
granted. v
Rev H L Atkins offered reso
lutions for the help of Brevard
Epworth school, owing to its
weak financial condition, asking
that collections be taken by the
churches on Thanksgiving day
and by the Sunday Schools and
Epworth Leagues at or near that
date for this school and that the
ministers solicit aid for same.
This was referred to a committee.
