No. 30 stops regularly for pass engers for Salisbury, Lexington, High Point, Greeisboro, Iieidsville, Danville, Ijypchburg, Charlottesville and Wash ington. No. 37 stops for pas sengers coming from Lynchburg or points beyond, and to take on pas sengers for regular stopping places south of Newells. FOUNDED... 1842. 11 Mr. Frank Teeter Quoted. Mr. F Teeter, a well-known Cabarrus county farmer, was in the city Friday. He stated that all the farmers in Cabarrus are very much elated over the rise' in the price of cotton, but that they were "kicking against too much money for fertilizer." On next Saturday week, he says, ' there will be meetings of the( cotton growers at the various townships in Cabarrus in pro test against the high price of fertilizer. Similar to a case once before which came under the samo judge is the one at Marion Friday when J G Grant, a-juryman, was fonnd intoxicated and the officer of the jury, J "W Hemphill, had allowed him to drink the whis key.
