Wm. Jennings Bryan will deliver i
speeches in North Carolina Sep
tember 18 and 19. He will be at
Hollins Institute near Uoanoke, I
Va., September 15, to place his j
daughter in school there and will
come directly into North Carolina.
According to the itinerary arrang
ed here subject to the approval of i
Mr. Bryan, he will come to Wins-!
ton-Salem Monday and speak there j
Tuesday morning, September 18.'
In the afternoon he will speak at
Greensboro and at Salisbury Tues
day night. Wednesday, Septem
ber 19, he will come to Raleigh, j
speaking probably at Burlington
and Durham en route. After his
speech in Raleigh he will leave i
for Columbia, S. C., where he will
speak Thursday, September 20,
and then continue his Southern
tour.
As soon as those dates are ap
proved by Mr. Bryan arrange
ments will be made for special
trains to some of the points, nota
bly Winston-Salem, Greensboro,
Salisbury and Raleigh.

day morning he will speak in Ral
