C. { THE DANBURY REPORTER OAK GROVE NEWS. Farmers Hard at Work and In Fine Spirits—Sickness In the Neifh borhood. Oak Grove, May Bth. The farmers of this section are in fine; spirits, as they have been work ing hard preparing for more hog and hominy. The weather is cool' and the little bugs are playirg, the wild with tobacco plants. I Wheat is looking well at present but rain is badly needed in this section, as the saying is, a cool! dry May for a good wheat crop, j Some of the farmers in this sec tion are through planting corn,: while some have planted but little. There is some sickness in the neighborhood. Mr. and Mrs. W. ! VV. Boyles, of King Route' 2, are among the number who are on the sick list, but we are glad to loarn that they are improving. Mrs. Wiley Fulk, of King, is visiting relatives on King Route Two. Mr. and Mrs. D. F. Edwards went to King Saturday shopping. Miss Mamie Boyles, of King Route 2, is spending this week with her Aunt, Mrs. .J. P. Cov ington, near Pilot Mt. SCRIBBLER. Death of Mrs. Ruth Nunn Near Dan bury Friday. Mrs. Ruth Nunn, aged about; 37 years, died at her home near | Danbury early Friday morning of last week. She had been in bad health for several years. A few days ago she sud-! denly become much worse, and rapidly declined till her death. Mrs. Nunn is survived by four children and several brothers and sisters. Her husband, Thomas Nunn, has been dead several years. The interment was made near the home attended by her relatives and friends.
