C., that a petition filed before said board signed by more than one-fifth voters of Snow Creek town : ship, in said county, asking for an election to be held in said town i ship for the purpose of ascertaining the will of the qualified voters j thereof, upon the question of issuing road bonds of said township, iin the sum of twenty thousand dollars, under chapter 41 of the Public Local Laws of the General Assembly of North Carolina, of ! 1913, for the improvement of the public roads of the township, under said act; and it further appearing to the board that no election has been held in said township under said act, within six months of the date of this order: It is now, in accordance with the pel it ion aforesaid, and in pur. suance of the act of the General Assembly aforesaid, ordered by ]the Board of County Commissioners of Stokes county, N. C,, that lan election be held in said township, under the provisions of said ; act, at the election precinct in Snow Creek township, at Sandy Ridge, ,on the 15th day of August, 1910, for the purpose of ascertaining ; the will of the qualified voters of said township upon the question as to whether or r.ot the said township shall issue twenty thousand dollars road bonds thereof, for the purpose of raising funds , with which to improve the public roads of the township, in accord lance with said act. That for the purpose of holding said election, it is further ordered that G. A. Hutcherson be. and he i 3 now appointed registrar, and that J. T. Joyce and T. M. Martin be, and they are hereby appointed judges to hold said election in accordance with said act. That at said election all qualified electors who are in favot of issuing said bonds shall vote a ballot "For ( r,>od Roads Bond Issue," and those who are opoosed to the issuing *aid bonds shall vote a ballot "Against Good Roads Bond Issue." That said election shall be held as near as mar be under the ; general law for the election of members of the (iaieral Assembly.
