of how an apple pie should be
made:
Select tart apples. In case they
are a little too hard, cook In just
enough water to steam until they
are slightly soft.

1 teaapoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon butter
Line one 9 inch pie dish with
pastry rolled to H-lach thickness;
moisten edges with cold water; fill
with apples; sprinkle with sugar
and cinnamon and dot with the
butter. Corer with top crust.
Brush with milk or beatea egg.
Bake In hot orea 4s* degrees F.)
