THIRSDA V, JAN. 17, 1935 LOCALS A. R. Phillips, of Dalton. was here Wednesday. Dr. J. L. Hanes was here from Pine Hall Monday. S. Gilmer Sparger, who is representing Stokes in ihe lower house at Raleigh, spent the week end with his family here. G. W. Smith and son, Fount, accompanied by the little son and grandson, visited Danbury today. I District Game Warden Bill Lisk, of Ilichl'ield, was here this this week looking after the State's game interests. Mrs. R. T. Joyce, of Westl'ield, is visiting in Bristol. Pa., the guest of Mr. and Mis. Robert Nutt. Mr. Nutt is Mrs. Joyce's grandson. J. E. Thore, who is now mak-; ing his headquarters at Pilot Mt.,' being empjoyed by the Joint\ Stock Land Bank of Raleigh, | was in Danbury Wdnesday. I Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ashburn 1 and famliy, also Mr. and Mrs.; Ellis Ashburn and family, all ol! 1 Winston-Salem, were guests at the Methodist parsonage last Sunday. I Dr. and Mrs. J. L.
