Flue-cured tobacco has averaged 25.5 cents per pound during six years under quotas as compared with 16 cents per pound in "no quota" years, from 1931 through 1942. 2. Tobacco acreages per farm are already low. Think what may hap pen if quotas are lifted and more tobacco is planted in other sections. I 1 i 3. Unlimited tobacco acreage next year may lower this year's prices. | 4. North Carolina has produced 32 percent more peanuts, 51 percent more wheat, 59 percent more oats, 23 percent more corn, and 66 V i ■ percent more hay under Tobacco quotas.
