Airv. N. C , branch. During the visit a public as well as a branch meeting was held. It was a privilege as well as a pleas ure to again meet Mt. Airy members, and it was gratifying to have an op- portdnity to compare notes for a few moments with the general public of । that growingg town in the mountains | overlooking western North Carolina | and Virginia. Credit is due to the managements of these enterprises for their efforts and accomplishments, and too much acknowledgment of trade and artistic ability can not be credited our mem bers for their excellent handicraft. All told, it is a creditable, fine cut granite development, and will make more proportionate progress in the future even than t has accomplished since entering into a practical trade agreement with our Association. Most people want to patronize the best kind, and if they are union peo ple, especially, they want to patronize a good laundry, a place where they will be sure that their work is being done by competent workers. There is nothing more certain than that they will meet with perfect satisfaction if they will send their work here. Mr. R. V. Deyerle, the owner and manager, is a rigid, fair adherent and employs nothing but the most ex perienced white help in all depart ments, which is a guarantee that his patrons will meet with absolute sat isfaction. So seldom is it that the employer is found in so perfect an ac cord with the hopes and aspirations of the working people that it affords us all great pleasure on this ocassion to give to this laundry a place of honor in this review.
