The Mebane Graded School held its closing exercises last Friday afternoon. Recitations and declamations were nicely rendered by the following, Misses Addie Louise Johnston. Bessie Nicholson, Frances Singleton and Master Theron Wilkerson. The Junior Order awai’ded two gold medals, and were presented by Mr. U. S. Ray, to Miss Sybil Walker for scholarship and Master Thercn Wilkerson for attendance. After appropriate songs, drills and other entertainmg features the principal, J^r. McKoen dis missed the school.
