IN TEN DAY;
BEGI^^NlNe
Wednesday Jan., 20th, 9
A Plain Statement of Facts to tlie People of Mebane a
I, the undersigned, doing business in Mebane. under the name of J. S. Clark, have this day placed my en
tire stock in the hands of the American Special Sales and Salvage Co.,_ of Washington D. C., with orders to
sell the same in ten days without regarding the cost. Never before in the history of Mebane, or the State ,j
of North Carolina, has such a high graae stock of Mer/s Clothing, Shoes, and Gent’s Furnishing’s Goods ev- \
er been sacrificed at such prices. Finding myself overstocked and in need of money, I have taken this step ||
to put before the public this high class stock of reasonable merchandise at prices that will appeal to all. 11|
earnestly urge my patrons, one and all, to attend this great bona fide sale
Respectfully, yours truly, J. S. CLARK
