Mebane took a double header from Graham Saturday, the first game by 3 to 0 and the second by 7 to 1. The first game was featured by the superb pitching of Doc High who held Graham hitless in the first game. Malone pitch ed the second and did it nicely. Scores first game. Mebane K. H. The bridal party of Miss Fanny Mebane and Dr. William Ralph were entertained Thursday even ing most delightfully, at the home of the brides parents Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Mebane. The j I large home was made very at tractive by the lovely flowers of the season. After dainty refreshments were served the brides cake was cut. The button fell to Mr.Trace Mebane of Greensboro, Miss Edna Gilliland cut the wish bone and Miss Margaret Moore of Graham won the ring. The “key to happiness” was not found. Only the family and a few intimate friends were pres ent. The out guest were: Misses Linnie, Edna and Frances Gilli land of Greensboro, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Gilliland of Greens boro, Mrs, T. M.
