The way our leaders are'entering
into this effort to create an interest
in a better egg laying strain of hens
is most gratifying, and the report*
themselves are illuminating as show
ing how some people keep chickens
presumably for the fan of feeding
them and occaaaionally hearing them
cackle. Below we give • few of the
reports chosen at random, hot we
have not had time to figure oat the
precentage. We will announce the
winner* for the first half of March
in the next week's paper.
