The Management of the New MARION THEATRE Wish to announce that the opening date will be on Our new theatre is built to meet the demands of Marion and Me- Dowell County for the next ten years, and we are advised by people in position to know that we have the prettiest theatre in Western N. C. Every piece of equipment and ornamentation in this new theatre is the most modern and the best that can be bought. The projection machines, which are the machines that display the picture on the screen, are the most expensive and the very latest type that is manufactured. We have had a special screen built for us which displays to perfection sound and talking pictures, as well as silent pic tures. The seats are the most modern and comfortable that we could find after canvassing the production of six large seat manufacturing con cerns. They are so arranged in the theatre that everyone can be com fortable and see the picture. The building itself is of the highest type of construction, and is ab solutely fireproof, being built in strict accordance with the requirements of the Insurance Department of the State of North Carolina. The cooling and ventilating system is of the very latest and most improved type, and the best that money could buy. The draperies and lighting fixtures and other ornamental work we believe will be a delight to every one of our patrons. In cor^lusion, we wish to state that no money or thought has been spared in making this new theatre the very best and latest, and safest, and most comfortable for the people of Marion and McDowell County, and we bespeak and will appreciate your liberal patronage.
