Dr. Parcels and .Judge Metger drove across country to Carthage, the county seat, a few days ago. They claim to have found the way alone, which is no doubt true, although it was intimated that a colored boy had something to do with it. At any rate, when they tried to tell the Carthagenians that they were in valids from Pinehurst it didn't go down no sir! They were supposed to be heavy capitalists from the Xorth looking for investments. If we can only keep the judge a few weeks more he will be the healthiest man in the county. Itev. Dr. Hale Coming'.
