Loral Colf Rule Cliange.
Considerable satisfaction is being mani
fested by the disposal of the local rule
which has hitherto prohibited golfers
from soleing clubs when balls lie outside
the posts which define the fair green of
the various holes. This rule is not gen
erally observed elsewhere, and the greens
committee decided that it would be desir
able to abolish it here.
