THE PINEHURST OUTLOOK PAGE ?- ? Weight Away from tbe Center THE TNEUMATIC GOLF BALL Is lightest at the center There's air there compressed air. This gives the PNEUMATIC a marked advantage over rubber-covered balls in llight. Remember your school book told you "The most rapid ly revolving sphere holds truest in its course" That's the principle. Because of its lightness at the center the driver's stroke imparts to The Pneumatic Golf Ball a greater amount of underspin than it does to a eolid rubber cored ball. Therefore, it revolves faster, goes straighter, carries far ther The PNEUMATIC'S cover is of extra-tough Para rubber Unlike gutta percha covered balls, the PNEUMATIC will not cut or gash, no matter what treatment it receives. The PNEUMATIC is splendidly responsive in the long game, dependable for the approach, deadly accurate for the putt. The Goodyeak Tike and Kubbkk Co. (Golf Ball Dept.) Akkon, Ohio. Tests made this month show that the cows at the Dairy are in perfect condi tion, and that the quality of the milk continues to be much above the lawful standard. This, one of the most attractive fea tures of the Village will be kept up to the regular standard during the summer, so that all requirements for the coming sea son may be fully met. The increase in the consumption of milk during the past few years has been phenomenal, and if continued at the same rate, an increase in the herd will be necessary. The Berkshire department shows satis factory improvement, and the fine breed ing stock now on hand is creating a very active demand from those who are seek- for use in stocking the preserves, one hundred pairs of the latter having been imported especially for this purpose. It is believed that all that are needed for this purpose can be raised in captivity. THE MARKET GARDEN. The removal of hot houses to high land just east of the power house, has been a decided success. Even though it was hard to improve in the quality of cucum bers, lettuce, and other vegetable deli cacies raised, these have been more ap preciated and have been grown in greater abundance than ever before this -year. The extension of this department is now under consideration, and plans have been made for the addition of new houses, which work it is hoped to shortly take up. HOTEL OPENINGS. THE POULTRY FARM. The Poultry Farm, under its new man agement, is showing very satisfactory improvement. In future operations will be confined to the two or three strains of stock best adapted to provide broilers, fowls, etc., such as the Village requires, and no attempt will be made to carry all of the different varieties of fancy breeds.
