that Victory was Well Earned,
the Triumph of Steady Play.
SERIES of close
matches, many of which
it took extra holes to
decide, characterized the
match play rounds of the
Advertising tournament.
An evenly matched field kept interest
keen and the results of the final rounds,
Wednesday, were awaited eagerly by a
crowd which taxed the Country Club
House to its capacity. N
There were no walkovers, and each
trophy represents well earned victory
and the triumph of steady play. Not
only were there prizes for the winners in
each division, but for the division run-ners-up
and winners of the consolation
divisions as well.
