HERE wasn't a "dull moment" from first round to final in the match play rounds of the St. Valentine's golf tournament, match after match pegging it out stroke for stroke to the seventeenth or home greens, and many a pair going even farther. Of sur prises, also, there were a few, notably the defeat of Mr. Travis and the down fall of Mr. Gardner in the consolation. MATCH PLAY SUMMARY.
