At The Magnolia A pleasant affair of the week at The Magnolia was the observance of the eigh ty-second birthday anniversary of Mr. D.N. Clark in which the entire house hold joined. One of the pleasant re membrances was a surprise birthday cake which was placed at his plate at dinner, the evening pleasantly spent with euchre. From all directions the mails brought scores of congratulatory postcards. Mrs. J. V. Witherbee and Miss Reta Wither- bee of Brooklyn are completing a short stay. Miss C. A. Religious Association Meets To the Editor of The Outlook, Sir : At the adjourned annual meeting of the Pinehurst Keligious Association held March first, the resignations of the President, G. N. McMillan, and Direc tor, Lieut. M. II. Plunket were accept ed and the Secretary was requested to express to them the regrets of the Direc tors. Mr. Tyler L. Kedfield and Mr. John C. Spring were elected to fill the vacancies. The meeting was then adjourned sub ject to the call of the Secretary, r to be reconvened for the election of officers and the transaction of any other business that may come before the board.
