MA I1C II TO BE HANKER MONTH Spring: Golf Tournament Inaugurates its important Fixtures March will, as usual, be the banner tournament month of the season, em bracing as it does, important golf, tennis and shooting contests with their record entrance lists. Starting on f ourthand con tinuing to the ninth, is the Fifth Annual Spring golf tournament which last year established a world's record of two hun dred and forty-one participants. Play is under the Pinehurst system of class qual ification and the equivalent of a dozen sixteens will be provided for in the tro phy list. The tenth annual United States North and South amateur golf championship which starts March 25 and continues through April 6, includes men's, wom en's, amateur-professional, and open events. Weekly hundred-target Trap Shooting tournaments conclude with the award of medals for high all-season averages, and from March 18 to 23, the annual United States Revolver Association pistol cham pionship is to be held for Association medals.
