Annual "Snipping" Jarty at Magnolia
Provides Enjoyable Evening'
The annual "snipping" party at The
Magnolia is always anticipated with much
pleasure, and Fridayevening's party was
a success in every detail. On a string
stretched across the rear of the parlor
the presents, wrapped in much paper and
enclosed in many boxes, were suspended.
Each guest was in turn, blindfolded,
made to turn around three times and
given scissors with which to cut a pack
age from the string. The undoing of
the packages was the cause of much
merriment ; cards rounding out the eve
ning. Among those enjoying the evening
Mr. and Mm. L. C. Hopkins, Mr. and
Mrs. C. C. Brinton, Mr. and Mrs. H. R.
Durfee, Mr. and Mrs. II. S. Bachman and
the Misses Bachman, Mrs. D. R. Francis
