The first competition will be on November 10, for the benefit of the many Carolina players developed here and throughout the Carolina Association. Here is a complete schedule of golfing events, the rules of entry and handicaps and prizes as handed us by the governors of the Pinehurst Country Club. Thirteenth Annual Spring Tourna ment. February 26, 27, 28, March 1, 2, 3. Qualifying round, thirty-six holes; finals, thirty-six holes, in first division only; eighteen holes in all other divisions. Gold medal for .best qualification score; President's, Governors' Secretary's Treasurer's, Captain's and Club Trophies to winners of first six sixteens; trophies to winners of seventh, eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth divis ions; sterling trophies to first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh division runners-up and consolation divis ion winners; silver medals to division runners-up and consolation division win ners in the eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh and twelfth divisions. There will also be a consolation tournament. Fifteenth Annual United North and South Amateur Championship roi Women. March 24, 26, 27, 28, 29. Qualifying round and finals, eighteen holes to be played on the morning of each day, four divisions of eight to qualify. Gold medal for best qualification score. Championship Trophy to winner of first eight; Governors' Secretary's and Treas urer's Trophies to winners of next three divisions and Sterling Trophies to the runners-up and consolation winners in each division. Seventh Annual Amateur-Professional. March 30. Four ball best ball match. First prize $100; second, $50; third, $25. Trophy for amateur in lead ing Amateur-Professional pair. Ama teurs paired together winning a prize will receive value in plate. Seventeenth Annual United North and South Open Championship March 31. Thirty-six holes medal play; ama teurs winning to receive a trophy. First prize for professionals $150; second prize, $100; third, $75; fourth, $50; fifth, $25. Player making best score receives cham pionship gold medal. Seventeenth Annual United North and South Amateur Championship. April 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7. Qualifying round and finals, thirty-six holes. Gold medal for best qualification score; Champion ship Trophy to winner of first sixteen; Governors' Secretary's, Treasurer's Cap tain's and Club Trophies to winners of next five sixteens; sterling trophies next five sixteens; sterling trophies to division runners-up and consolation divis ion winners in all divisions.
