Red Cross Volunteers Required Orders of the Day Giving- filched ule of Working" Hours and Places Appointed for Work AH the ladies and girls in the village, and particularly the guests at the hotel are urgently invited to join the Red Cross volunteer workers. The share of this great National duty devolving up on Pinehurst is very properly a large one, and every effort is being made to meet it. This requires that the women of Pinehurst rally to the call with the same unanimous enthusiasm that is be ing displayed in every quarter of the Globe. The demand for an afternoon session as well as a morning session has led the committee to announce that the meeting hitherto held at the Carolina Hotel on Tuesday morning will be discontinued. Instead the Red Cross will meet to roll bandages and hospital supplies. EVERY FRIDAY MORNING AT 10 O'CLOCK and will continue work straight through the morning and afternoon until 5 P. M. This in no way interferes or changes the regular morning sessions at the School house. The chairman, Mrs. Leonard Tufts, requests U9 to ask you to please come, and to bring your friends and your guests, and help to establish a rec ord that will be a credit to the village and to the country.
