The Class A prizes were won by Lou Hamilton and G. W. Mead, who finish ed in 84-12, 72. The Fownes incorrig ibles made the best round of the day, going over the course in 80 and taking second honors with a net 75. C. L. Becker and W. E. Truesdell had a joint 85, gross, and T. H. McGraw, Jr., and L. D. Pierce also finished in the 80's. The Class B contingent was led by Castor and Pollux, F. C. Abbe and J. M. Robinson, with a net 74. C. S. Waterhouse and W. E. Father Sheedy led the men players with a 11 for the 3 holes, but the ladies had all the best of things, Mrs. R. J. Breed and Miss Winifred V. Cullen tying for the women's prize, at 11, and Mrs. Breed finally winning it with a 9 on the playoff. SOME CARD PARTY The sum of $325 was netted for the Farm Life School at the highly suc cessful Benefit Card Party held at the Carolina on Friday, the 21st. Among the numerous prize winners were Mrs. B. S. Stevenson, Mrs. A. M. Reed, Mrs. J. J. Carter, Mrs. Stevens and Mrs. G. A. Magoon. The committee in charge was Mrs. J. M. Hills, Mrs. Sanford H. Steele, Mrs. C. F. Bausher, Mrs. H. W. Priest and Mrs. G. M. Howard. Mrs. J. V. Hurd had an 83. On the Number One course on Wed nesday, which is the best round of the season to date, for a woman golfer.
