Starting on Tuesday, December 16, there will be a weekly han dicap tournament every Tuesday if there are live entries or more, for a ster ling trophy, Ideal Leggett traps. Bird handicap. The handicap is limited to twenty birds. A sterling trophy will be given for the four best scores made each month dur ing the months of J anuary, February and March, in the weekly handicap tournaments for 16 yards at 400 tar gets. ANNIE OAKLEY will instruct ladies in the art of shooting free of charge. Weekly prizes will be given to the ladies making the highest scores at the riflo range. January 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24; Thir teenth Annual Midwinter Handicap. Over $10,00 in money and trophies. Tbe first day will be devoted to practice, and the last to a consolation day. Sev eral trophies are offered one to winner of the Preliminary; one to winner of the Midwinter Handicap; 65 sterling class trophies; a gold medal for the highest general amateur average. The tournament will be registered and run under American Trapshooting Asso ciation rules. Manufacturers' agents and paid rep resentatives may shoot for targets only.
