From present indications the coming show will surpass it's predecessor in all respects, and considering the great merit, of the first show this speaks volumes for the second. The recent publication of the Premium List discloses the fact that a large number of Pinehurst people have offered trophies. Mr. George F. Foley, of Philadelphia, who is conceded the best man in the country in his line, is Superintendent of the Show and all en tries of dogs should be filed with him, on blanks which he .will furnish, not later than March 24th. We give below a par tial list of those who have donated prizes for various classes, to be con tinued in our next issue. UNCLASSIFIED SPECIAL PRIZES 1. Mr. Leonard Tufts offers a sterling Trophy for the best in the show. 2. Mrs. Leo F. F. Wanner offers a sterling Trophy for the best of opposite sex to winner of Mr. Tuft's Trophy. 3. Mrs. Stuyvesant Peabody offers a sterling Trophy for the best dog or bitch owned in Moore County. 4. Mr. Leonard Tufts offers a ster ling Trophy for the best brace. 5. Mrs. H. B. Swoope offers a ster ling Trophy to the professional handler benching the largest number of entries. 6. Lewanno Kennels offers a ster ling Trophy for the best dog or bitch owned by a woman in Pinehurst. 7. Spratt's Patent (America) Limited offers a piece of Plate of the value of $50.00 for the best brace of any one breed entered and owned by one kennel or exhibitor at any show benched or fed by them from January 1st to December 31st, 1920, inclusive. The special to become the property of the. kennel exhibitor scoring the most wins during the term stated. A medal or special prize will be given to each skow commemorating the particular win. 8. Miss Claudia L. Phelps offers a sterling Trophy for the best in Class 95, Terrier Variety Class. 8A. The Pinehurst Kennel Club offers a Sterling Trophy, Picture Frame, for Reserve in Class 95, Terrier Variety Class. 9A. The Pinehurst Kennel Club offers a sterling Trophy, Cigarette Case, for Reserve in Class 94, Non-Sporting Variety Class. 11A. Mr. H. W. Ormsbee offers a sterling Trophy, Cigarette Case, for Re serve in Class 96, Local Sporting Class. 12A. Ross offers a sterling Tronhy for the best in the Limit Classes. The English Setter Club of Amer ica (Elmer M. Simkins, Secretary, Med ford, N. J.) offers to its members only: 18. Silver Medal to each dog and to each bitch which has won a First Class Certificate at a Public Field Trial, which wins first in Winners Class. 19. Bronze Medal to each dog and to each bitch which wins First Winners. 20. Bronze Medal to every dog and to every bitch which has won an English Setter Club First Certificate or been placed at a Public Field Trial, which wins a First Prize in any Class against two or more competitors. 21. Bronze Medal to every dog and to every bitch "Breeder Exhibitor" which wins a First Prize in any Class against two or more competitors. NOTE. For the above specials for members, of the English Setter Club of America to be valid, there must not be less than ten English Setters, not neces sarily owned by members of this Club, actually shown.
