White, President of the White Company of Cleveland, Ohio, is now making his annual visit to Pinehurst for rest and an outing of golf. In this con nection it is interesting to note the popu larity of Mr. White's product in this section of the country. The fire truck at Pinehurst was purchased from this concern some four years ago and has served as a protection against fire for the entire community, and the large bus that plys between points around Pinehurst was also manufactured by this concern. More than 16,000 White trucks were in use by the allied armies during the war.
