TRAP AND RIFLE SHOOTING
Sixth Annual United North and South Amateur Handicap
Target Tournament. This tournament will be registered and
run under American Trapshooting Association rules.
November 21, 1922; April 10, 1923. (Weekly.)
One Hundred Target Handicap Tournaments. Starting on
Tuesday, November 21, there will be a weekly handicap tour
nament every Tuesday if there are five entries or more, for
a sterling trophy, Ideal Leggett traps, bird handicap. The
handicap is limited to twenty birds.
Pinehurst Jockey Club Races. These include trotting, pacing,
flat races and steeple chases, as well as novelty contests. They
are held weekly, under the auspices of the Pinehurst Jockey
Club. Harness events are under the rules of the National
Sixth Annual Horse Show. Write to the Secretary of the
Pinehurst Jockey Club for blanks and prize list.
Second Annual President's Flat Race for the President Cup
The Sandhills Polo Club has its home in Pinehurst, where there
are two splendid fields and a practice field at its disposal.
The Club is a private one, and its games may be participated
in only by members or upon the personal invitation of some
member. However, everybody is welcome to watch the games,
which have become very popular semi-weekly events at Pine
hurst. Beginning November 14, the Club will play every
Tuesday and Friday.
Spring Polo Tournament. Auspices of the Sandhills Polo

Sixth Annual Dog Show. Entries close March 22. Post
entries (50 per cent additional entry free) close March 27.
