TRAP AND RIFLE SHOOTING January 7-8-9-10-11 Seventeenth Annual Midwinter Handicap.—This Tournament will be registered with the Amateur Trapshooting Association > and run in accordance with its rules. All receipts above 3 cents a target are returned to the shooters and the manage ment adds to this $2,500.00. The entrance, for targets and trophies for each event (with the exception of the Midwinter Handicap) is 3 cents a target. The winter of the Midwinter Handicap is guaranteed $350.00. April 21-22-23-24-25-26 Seventh Annual United North and South Amateur Handicap Target Tournament, and North Carolina State Championship Tournament.—These tournaments will be registered and run under Amateur Trapshooting Association rules. (Weekly) * One Hundred Target Handicap Tournaments.—Starting on Tuesday, November 13, there will be a weekly handicap tour nament every Tuesday if there are five entries or more, for a sterling trophy, Ideal Leggett traps, bird handicap. The handicap is limited to twenty .birds, v RACES Pinehurst Jockey Club Races.—These include trotting, pacing, flat races and steeple chases, as well as novelty contests. They are held weekly under the auspices of the Pinehurst Jockey Club.
